The 5-day BECOME professionals training has come to an end and what an inspiring journey it has been!

Professionals from Bulgaria, Finland, Slovenia, and the Netherlands explored the circular economy from foundations to real-world application. We started with core concepts like systems thinking and values-driven approaches, and quickly moved into practical tools such as Material Flow Mapping, Life Cycle Analysis, and sustainable material choices.

As the training progressed, the focus shifted to implementation, from Life Cycle Costing and sustainability financing to innovative circular business models and technological solutions. Through company visits, such as Heijmans, participants experienced how circular principles are already being applied in practice.

The final day brought everything together, focusing on collaboration, reflection, and most importantly turning knowledge into action using tools like the Circular Maturity Tool.

This training truly highlighted the power of co-creation and collaboration between education and industry.

The modules are currently being fine-tuned and will become available later this year.
