Driving sustainable business in a multipolar world

BECOME was proud to be represented at the Trends in Social Responsibility 2026 conference, held on 26 May at IEDC – Bled School of Management in Bled. 

Under the theme “Sustainable Business in a Multipolar World”, the conference brought together business leaders, academics and sustainability practitioners to discuss how organisations can navigate increasing complexity—from climate change and resource scarcity to evolving regulations and geopolitical challenges. 

A key topic of discussion was the growing importance of materiality in sustainability and the connection between sustainability impacts and long-term financial viability. The conversations highlighted how sustainability is no longer just an ethical consideration, but a strategic driver of resilience, competitiveness and value creation. 

During the event, Robert, Mirjana, and Marina shared valuable insights through keynote presentations and interactive workshops, exploring the circular economy and broader sustainability challenges and opportunities for businesses.
